It seems everyone is a farmer.
And why the hell not? Using my secret playing account (yep, I'm a multi!) I train in certain professions but always have time for farming. While this is good because I can complete what appears to be a profession each day with about 2% energy, it's also a complete waste of what should be a real profession.
I'm thinking of putting together ideas on making the farming profession a real / full-time profession.
I'm not exactly sure yet... but lets hear what you have to say!

i like having the farming profession as a side profession. it gives me extra income to buy fish so i can up my energy for my real profession as a fighter. i dont get a lot of money from fighting because a lot of people have put their money in their bank because of the new rules about the EA and my pickpocketing skills arent the best since i just started. so i can sell eggs as of right now. it gives me something extra to do.
in other words my vote is to keep farming the way it is.
maybe add to it ..like different animals or..maybe they get sick? and then theres a market for medicine. but they have longer lifespans.
breeding? maybe at a certain level players can breed animals and then they can collect more or special items. and have animals at a lower price. which means overall increase in current prices but increase their lifespan as well
have an affinity meter? the better players take care of their animals [ie not forget to feed them] the more the animal gives in terms of items or lives longer.

It would be interesting if crop fields were added, and you controlled what seeds were planted where, and herbs/plants could be grown over time. =]
Higher level farming = more amazing stuff to grow. :P

I like the idea of "growing" things as well. Makes it a bit more interesting.
I think we should do bigger better things with farming its way under rated.
